NFL - WEEK 15
Los Angeles Rams (7-6) @ San Francisco 49ers (6-7)
Thursday Night Football sees the Rams meet the 49ers in a key NFC West matchup. The 2 sides met back in week 3, where Los Angeles came out on top 27-24, and they will be looking to complete the clean sweep here.
The 49ers ended a 3-game losing streak by defeating the Bears by an impressive 38-13 scoreline. The Rams will be looking to make it a hat trick of wins after defeating the Bills 44-42 last week.
The Rams have been accustomed to high-scoring games, with 3 of their last 4 games reaching 50 points or more. A similar case can be made for the 49ers, whose last 3 games had 45 points or more. With the line currently at 49.5, I can see value in the overs. Check our LA Rams @ SF 49ers markets here.
Prediction: Over 49.5 @ 1.95
Green Bay Packers (9-4) @ Seattle Seahawks (8-5)
The Green Bay Packers host the Seattle Seahawks in one of the games of the round. A run of 4 consecutive wins means that the Seahawks are riding high going into the game and have taken firm control of the NFC West division. That said, Seattle’s home record has not been as impressive, with its current record being 3-4.
For the Packers, their 3-game winning streak was ended by the Lions, who came out on top 34-31 last week. Despite that loss, they still boast a winning away record (4-2). The offensive line, play-calling, and run game are more than capable of exploiting the Seattle defence.
While the task for Green Bay will be tough, they are more than capable of winning this game and beating their -3.0 spread. Check our Green Bay Packers @ Seattle Seahawks markets here.
Prediction: Green Bay Packers -3.0 @ 2.02
Chicago Bears (4-9) @ Minnesota Vikings (11-2)
The Minnesota Vikings (11-2) enter Week 15 on a six-game winning streak, aiming to lock up a playoff berth as they contend for the NFC’s top seed. Their opponent, the struggling Chicago Bears (4-9), are on a seven-game losing streak and have already fired their head coach and offensive coordinator. Interim coach Thomas Brown’s debut was disastrous, with the Bears suffering a 38-13 blowout loss to the 49ers.
Meanwhile, the Vikings looked dominant against Atlanta, with Sam Darnold throwing five touchdown passes and their defence leading the league with 20 interceptions. Despite the Bears playing Minnesota closely earlier this season, the Vikings’ potent passing attack, strong defence, and home-field advantage make them heavy favourites to extend their streak against a reeling division rival.
Prediction: Minnesota Vikings -7.0 @ 2.0
Atlanta Falcons (6-7) @ Las Vegas Raiders (2-11)
The Atlanta Falcons and Las Vegas Raiders face off in a Monday Night Football clash that pits two struggling teams against each other. The Falcons (6-7) are 4.5-point favorites but have dropped four straight games, severely denting their playoff hopes. However, the Raiders (2-11) have been even worse, enduring a nine-game losing streak that has cemented them as one of the league’s bottom teams.
While the Falcons are sticking with Kirk Cousins at quarterback, some analysts question the decision, suggesting rookie Michael Penix Jr. might be a better option. Meanwhile, former Falcons QB Desmond Ridder leads a Raiders squad that has been inconsistent at best. Projections favor Atlanta slightly, with expert predictions and simulations mostly pointing to a Falcons victory, though likely not a dominant one.
With this in mind we fancy taking Atlanta to win (just about)!
Prediction: Falcons to win by 1-6 inc @ 4.5
